Certification Recognizing Professionals with Additional Training in the Field of Autism

The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) offers certification programs to educators and licensed professionals who work or interact with autistic individuals. This Autism Certificate (AC) recognizes professionals dedicated to promoting quality care in the field of autism. The Autism Certificate does not require a Master’s degree as a prerequisite.

  • Currently employed in a setting that requires you to work or have contact with autistic individuals.
  • 14 continuing education hours:
    View CE options
  • Pass the online Autism Certificate Competency Exam
  • Registry Fee: $295

Renewal Requirements:

  • Renewal fee: $149 every two years
  • 14 Additional CEU hours in autism related areas
  • Maintain active status as an AC and Compliance with Code of Ethics

Registration fees include application review by IBCCES board and access to Autism Certificate Exam.

  • You will receive an authorized wallet ID card to demonstrate your new credentials to parents, employers, insurance professionals and others;
  • digital badge is available upon request for use on digital resumes and social media;
  • Your credential number can be verified by employers at ibcces.org
